Conant Carr has served with In Faith for 38 years. The Lord opened a door of opportunity for Conant to serve as a Law Enforcement Chaplain more than 30 years ago. Twenty-six years ago Conant graduated from the Sheriff’s Academy, becoming an officer himself that he might more effectively identify with the officers he works with. He currently serves the federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies of Southern New Mexico. He also serves as President of the NM State Crisis Support Team which is available to all first responders (Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement). The team provides various interventions designed to help mitigate the effects that crises take on those serving in the emergency services. For more information visit his website at infaith.org/conant-janice-carr. Conant recently lost his wife of almost 46 years to metastatic breast cancer. He is still blessed by The Lord God of Heaven and his five children and sixteen grandchildren, most of whom live in Las Cruces with him.
