Josh and Caitlin Borunda

Joshua and Caitlin Borunda are reaching students locally, training staff worldwide. They are on staff with the collegiate and pastoral care missions of The Navigators.

Josh was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He left home for college and moved to Lubbock, Texas to pursue a business degree at Texas Tech University thanks largely to receiving an academic scholarship. Being the first in his extended family to go to college, he was the first to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business in 2010, and then pursued a master’s degree in Business Administration and graduated in 2012. During his time at Texas Tech, several godly men invested their lives in him, and helped him grow in a biblical understanding of God’s grace, his own character, a deeper understanding of biblical masculinity, and a fuller understanding of how his ethnic identity reflects God and his kingdom. Since then, he has gotten married to Caitlin who was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Caitlin went to Penn State University, and got involved with the Navigators after her freshmen year. Caitlin's first assignment in ministry was launching the ministry at the University of Alabama for 5 years, and most recently at the Navigators headquarters working as a pastoral care and counselor for staff around the world. They are now married and are launching and pioneering a new ministry at Texas State University, and have the opportunity to travel and train staff around the world. This journey has been exciting and humbling for them both as they have learned more about who God is, as well as how to raise a younger generation of staff and college students wrestling with very real questions about life and God.
